The cordless "20V Max" 3851 is part of the SKIL "brushless XP" range. The "XP" tools offer superior performance and durability thanks to their high-end technical features and advanced digital brushless motors. Like all other SKIL "20V Max" battery tools, this model is powered by industry-leading, advanced "PWRCORE 20™" battery and charger technology. The carbon brushless SKIL 3851 model features an impact function for concrete drilling with up to 24 mm blade, an anti-shock function for conventional drilling and bolting, and an anti-twist function for light-duty reaming. And that's not all, this drill also allows free-rotation drilling. The digital brushless motor is more powerful and efficient and offers ten times longer life compared to a brushless motor. The tool's Vibration Reduction System ("VRS") ensures optimum working comfort by minimising vibration. This versatile tool offers everything you need: reliable lithium-ion battery technology, adjustable speed for precise control and an LED light for excellent visibility of the work area. The SKIL 3851 JA comes in a carrying case with a 3-piece SDS+ drill bit set.

The kit includes a 20 V 4.0 Ah Keep Cool™ lithium-ion battery and a 2.0 Ah Keep Cool™ lithium-ion battery, as well as a charger. The patented Keep Cool™ feature of the batteries extends the life and lifetime of the batteries. The patented battery charge status indicator conveniently displays the battery charge status.
