"20V Max" (18V) SKIL 3070 is a carbon brushless cordless drill. This tool is ideal for drilling wood and metal, and even masonry, and for power-intensive screwing work. The brushless motor is faster and stronger, and lasts ten times longer than a similar brushed motor. The 17-position torque adjustment ensures accurate work results. The mode selector makes it easy to switch between screwing, drilling and impact drilling. Two gears, so a suitable number of revolutions for fast drilling or power-intensive drilling and screwing. This tool has a 13 mm metal quick chuck with locking function, which prevents the screw tip / blade from slipping during work. Automatic spindle locking for easy replacement of accessories. All in all, this versatile tool offers everything you need: reliable lithium-ion battery technology, adjustable speed for complete control, as well as an LED light that ensures good visibility to the work site. The patented indicator of the state of charge of the battery conveniently displays the state of charge of the battery. The SKIL 3070 AA comes with a "20V Max" (18V) 2.5Ah "Keep Cool" battery, a fast charger, a double-headed screw tip and a belt clip.

This tool is part of the SKIL "Energy Platform": a flexible battery system. "20V Max" (18V) lithium-ion batteries ensure optimal operational reliability. These batteries are designed for all "Energy Platform" tools, so the same battery can be used in all of them. The "Energy Platform" tools are available with or without batteries, so you don't necessarily have to buy new batteries and chargers with new tools. This battery is also equipped with "Keep Cool™" and "ActivCell™" battery technology. "Keep Cool™" cools the battery cells and prevents them from overheating. This increases running time by up to 25% and doubles battery life! "ActivCell™" technology optimizes efficiency, prevents overheating and maximizes battery performance.
